Conflict Minerals Policy StatementIrving Tool is committed to complying with Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act, which aims to prevent the use of certain minerals, such as columbite-tantalite (coltan), cassiterite, gold, wolframite, or their derivatives (tantalum, tin, gold and tungsten) from the Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas that, directly or indirectly, finance groups responsible for the human rights abuse in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries. Irving Tool requests that suppliers whose products contain tantalum, tin, gold and tungsten source only from conflict-free smelters and submit the necessary compliance information using the standardized EICC/GeSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template that traces the metals back through the supply chain. |
